Peter Stan, O.D.

Optometrist
Dr. Peter Stan is an optometrist dedicated to providing comprehensive, evidence-based eye care with a strong focus on ocular disease management and patient-centered treatment. He performs thorough eye examinations for patients, with experience in medical optometry, complex ocular disease management, refractive care and the co-management of surgical patients.
Dr. Stan earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from The New England College of Optometry (NECO) after completing his Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry at Case Western Reserve University. He completed an ocular disease optometry residency at the White River Junction VA Medical Center, where he focused on the diagnosis and management of complex ocular conditions in a multidisciplinary medical setting. During his residency, he also served as chief resident and participated in academic presentations, journal clubs and interdisciplinary clinical rotations.
Throughout his career, Dr. Stan has worked extensively with advanced ophthalmic imaging and diagnostic technologies and has experience co-managing patients alongside ophthalmologists and other medical specialists. He has also contributed to optometric education through tutoring, technician training and clinical mentorship.
