Michael A. Dagostino, O.D., FAAO

Dr. Michael A. Dagostino is a certified optometrist specializing in comprehensive eye care, contact lens fitting, ocular disease management and vision correction for patients of all ages. With more than 20 years of clinical experience, he is committed to providing personalized, patient-focused care using advanced diagnostic technology and evidence-based treatment approaches to help patients maintain lifelong visual health.

Dr. Dagostino earned his Doctor of Optometry from Nova Southeastern University after completing a Bachelor of Science in psychology at Florida State University. He also completed externship training with Ft. Lauderdale Eye Institute and South Florida Vision Associates. Since joining Eye Center of St. Augustine in 2004, he has provided comprehensive vision care, including diagnosing and managing conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy, while collaborating closely with ophthalmologists for surgical co-management.

Dr. Dagostino is skilled in modern diagnostic testing and technology, including OCT imaging, fundus photography, visual field testing and corneal topography. He performs comprehensive eye exams, contact lens evaluations, binocular vision testing and patient education focused on long-term ocular health.

He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and is an active member of the American Optometric Association, Florida Optometric Association and Northeast Florida Optometric Association, including the AOA Contact Lens and Cornea Section.

Outside of work, Dr. Dagostino enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, traveling, exercising and cheering on his Florida State Seminoles.
