Peter Stan, O.D.

Dr. Peter Stan is an optometrist with specialization in the diagnosis and treatment of ocular diseases. He joined the Eye Center of St. Augustine team in 2022. He earned his undergraduate degree in chemistry from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH and his Doctor of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA.

Prior to completing his optometry residency in ocular disease at White River Junction VA Medical Center’s Eye Clinic, he served as an ophthalmic research assistant at the Cleveland Clinic: Cole Eye Institute as well as working as an optometric technician and Vision Therapy Assistant with Dr. John Barnhart O.D. at Vision Source in Warren, OH. In 2020, he received the David A. Huebner Scholarship and the Pontius Scholarship in 2014.
